Acceptance of Terms

By booking, purchasing, scheduling, or attending any appointment or service provided by Anna Burford MBR Practitioner ("the Practitioner"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Acceptance of a booking constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in full.

1. Appointments and Bookings

1.1 Appointments may be booked online, email, text, social media, or any other method approved by the Practitioner.

1.2 A booking is not confirmed until it has been accepted by the Practitioner and any required payment or deposit has been received.

1.3 Appointment times are reserved exclusively for the client. Clients are responsible for attending at the agreed date and time.

1.4 Clients arriving late may receive a shortened session. The full appointment fee will remain payable.

2. Fees and Payment

2.1 Fees for services will be communicated at the time of booking or published on the Practitioner’s website, booking system, or promotional materials.

2.2 Payment is due at the time specified during booking or immediately following the appointment unless otherwise agreed.

2.3 The Practitioner reserves the right to refuse future bookings where fees remain unpaid.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

3.1 Clients may cancel or reschedule an appointment by providing notice to the Practitioner.

3.2 Where a cancellation or request to reschedule is made more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, no cancellation fee will be charged and any prepaid payment may be transferred to a future appointment.

3.3 Where a cancellation or request to reschedule is made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, the full appointment fee shall become immediately due and payable.

3.4 Failure to attend an appointment without notice ("no-show") will be treated as a cancellation within 24 hours, and the full appointment fee will be payable.

3.5 The Practitioner reserves the right, at her sole discretion, to waive cancellation fees in exceptional circumstances.

4. Practitioner Cancellations

4.1 The Practitioner reserves the right to cancel or rearrange appointments due to illness, emergency, adverse weather, technical issues, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

4.2 Where the Practitioner cancels an appointment, clients will be offered either:

  • A rescheduled appointment; or

  • A refund of any prepaid fees relating to that appointment.

4.3 The Practitioner shall not be liable for any indirect losses resulting from appointment cancellations or changes.

5. Client Conduct

5.1 Clients are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and appropriately at all times.

5.2 The following behaviour is prohibited:

  • Abusive, threatening, intimidating, discriminatory, or offensive language;

  • Harassment or bullying;

  • Violence or threatening behaviour;

  • Attending under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances where participation may be affected;

  • Deliberate damage to property.

5.3 The Practitioner reserves the right to terminate a session immediately if behaviour is considered unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive.

5.4 Where a session is terminated due to client behaviour, no refund will be provided and the full session fee will remain payable.

5.5 The Practitioner reserves the right to refuse future bookings from any individual whose behaviour breaches these Terms and Conditions.

6. Health and Safety

6.1 Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding any relevant health conditions, injuries, medications, or concerns.

6.2 Clients must notify the Practitioner of any changes in their health circumstances that may affect treatment.

6.3 The Practitioner reserves the right to decline, postpone, or discontinue treatment where it is considered unsafe or inappropriate.

7. Scope of Services

7.1 Services provided by Anna Burford MBR Practitioner are delivered within the scope of the Practitioner's qualifications, training, and professional experience.

7.2 No guarantee is given regarding specific outcomes, results, or improvements arising from any treatment or service.

8. Confidentiality

8.1 Information disclosed during appointments will be treated confidentially except where disclosure is required by law, safeguarding obligations, court order, insurance requirements, or professional obligations.

8.2 Personal information will be processed in accordance with the Practitioner's Privacy Notice and applicable UK data protection legislation.

9. Liability

9.1 Nothing within these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.

9.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Practitioner shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from services provided.

10. Amendments

10.1 The Practitioner reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

10.2 The version in force at the time of booking shall apply to that booking.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

11.2 Any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
